Sometimes Rag Doll is too open with his team mates.
At this point the team has kidnapped Tarantula out of Alcatraz prison because they have been hired to retrieve an item of great importance and deliver both it and her to their anonymous employer in Gotham.
Secret Six #3 (2009)

The first 6 issues of S6 are forever my favorite 6 issues of S6.

Woooo I’m a scary clown.

In other words, I’m finally posting a Ragdoll photoset. Still ridiculously proud of this costume. It was a ton of fun going around Youmacon as Ragdoll, though I’d really like to wear him to a convention where more than five people will recognize me XD

Ragdoll is (and made by) me! Pictures thanks to this person over yonder.

Second photoset, because I am brilliant and didn’t post them all together, is here.

Best cosplay? Best cosplay!

Rock’n’Roll Suicides: A Secret Six playlist

dangerouscommiesubversive:

So I’m a big music nerd, and I love to come up with playlists to go along with things that I enjoy. I wouldn’t exactly call this a fanmix so much as I’d call it…a soundtrack. For the wonderful Secret Six, my very favorite comic.

These are songs about fucking up and being happy that you’re a fuckup, about loving people that it’s provably moronic to love and not giving a shit, about refusing to be anyone less than what you are, and about the soul-sucking misery of being someone that nobody else wants you to be. These are songs about bad, angry people who are going to have fun anyway, goddammit, fuck you. And they are songs about losing, no matter how hard you try.

Dear Gail: I know you love rockabilly, but I, uh…I don’t know anything about rockabilly. So there isn’t any on here. Sorries. -_-

A final note: titals are hotlinked to Youtube videos, as again, I don’t really have a download to offer or anything.

  1. Hero,” The Verve Pipe (burned like a cancer when the answer did occur to me / creep from the cradle but a hero’s what I wanna be)

  2. Guilty Filthy Soul,” AWOL Nation (cause you gotta look her in the eye / and you gotta love your way of life / cause you got a guilty filthy soul / don’tcha know it’s out of your control)

  3. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich,” Lady Gaga (daddy I’m so sorry I’m so so so sorry yeah / we just like to party like to p-p-party yeah)

  4. Marrow,” St. Vincent (H E L P help me help me)

  5. Gravity,” Dresden Dolls (cut a piece that’s bite size / shoot me from my bad side)

  6. Cat People (Putting Out Fire),” David Bowie (still this pulsing night / a plague I call a heartbeat / just be still with me / you wouldn’t believe what I’ve been through)

  7. I Can’t Decide,” Scissor Sisters (it’s a bitch convincing people to like you)

  8. Houdini,” Foster the People (got shackles on, my words are tied / fear can make you compromise / fasten up, it’s time to hide / sometimes I wanna disappear)

  9. Love Is Stronger Than Justice (The Munificent Seven),” Sting (I look forward to a better day / but ethical stuff never got in my way)

  10. Barrel Of A Gun,” Depeche Mode (what do you expect of me / what is it you want / whatever you’ve planned for me / I’m not the one)

  11. The Perfect Crime #2,” Decemberists (Sing, Muse, of the passion of the pistol)

  12. Defeat You,” Smash Mouth (all that knowledge, all those skills / all the gas it takes to get up top of the hill)

  13. Hurt,” Johnny Cash (you could have it all / my empire of dirt / I will let you down / I will make you hurt)

  14. Razor Valentine,” Thea Gilmore (I love you like a ruin, babe / I love you like a crime / I love you like a drunk at the sound of closing time)

  15. Bird On A Wire,” k.d. lang (I saw a beggar leaning on his wooden crutch / he said to me “You must not ask for so much” / and a pretty woman leaning in her darkened door / She cried to me, “Hey, why not ask for more?”)

  16. Folsom Prison Blues,” Johnny Cash (I shot a man in Reno / just to watch him die)

  17. Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked,” Cage the Elephant (he said give me all you’ve got / I want your money not your life / but if you try to make a move I won’t think twice)

  18. Rock’n’Roll Suicide,” David Bowie (no matter what or who you’ve been / no matter when or where you’ve seen / all the knives seem to lacerate your brain / I’ve had my share, I’ll help you with the pain / you’re not alone)

So that’s the playlist. Hope you liked it! I’m always hunting for new music to try, too—what would you add or use instead?

Weeeee! I also listen to “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” and “Houdini” when reading S6! Awesome playlist!
